This project was inspired by “Nelson” a Border terrier, Belonging to my stepson Kevin. The idea of using Nelsons vision as the photographic project transpired when I accompanied him for his regular walks, within ‘Stoke’ shore area on Hayling Island.

On viewing my photographs I would ask you to consider that a dog's sight is not as developed as in humans, since the dog can barely differentiate different colours, which it confuses in a gamma of blue/sepia hues. They are my representation of Nelson’s daily observations and my interpretation of his viewing, portraying how I imagine he sees
